There’s no better way to kick off 2026 than by reflecting on some of the highlights of the past year. One of our proudest moments was working closely with artist and poet DJ Kelliher on his debut illustrated poetry book, Dream, Reach, Do.
DJ is a shop assistant with Mr Price in Killarney and hails from Kilgarvan, Co. Kerry. He is one of the most distinctive and talented authors we’ve had the pleasure of working with. DJ writes poetry to help others express themselves and to share messages of positivity, resilience and hope.
His book was sponsored and published by Mr Price and launched as part of the company’s Light the Way initiative at Indeed headquarters in Dublin — and it’s easy to see why. Poetry and art have become central to DJ’s role at Mr Price, where he regularly writes poems to motivate and uplift his colleagues.
As Edel McSorley, Operations Director at Mr Price, notes in the preface to DJ’s book, ‘DJ’s journey at Mr Price began with one poem, but it’s turned into something that has truly transformed our team. His creativity, heart, and dedication have inspired us, brought us closer together, and helped us approach our work in a more thoughtful and inclusive way. We’re lucky to have him, and his poetry continues to make a lasting impact on all of us.‘
Dream, Reach, Do is DJ’s debut publication. We were proud to guide DJ and Mr Price through all stages of their publishing journey, with Jeremy working closely with DJ on his poems and his overall vision for the book. JM Agency designer Parvathi collaborated with the author to create an impactful cover design, which features DJ’s original drawing of the Kenmare Bridge in Kenmare, Co. Kerry, as well as a distinctive interior layout that showcases his varied artistic talents.
The book was officially launched at the Light the Way event by Minister for Social Protection Dara Calleary, who complimented DJ on his inspirational voice.
