These trade fairs can be daunting for a small business, but, even outside of the work context, it was a pleasure to be there and absorb the energy and bustle. Well done to the teams at Publishing Ireland and Literature Ireland for doing Ireland proud!
What began as the ‘Specialist Publishers’ Exhibition for Librarians’ in 1971, has grown into the publishing industry’s second largest international trade fair, second only to the Frankfurt Buchmesse in terms of sheer scale and range. Today, over 25,000 companies, almost 200 exhibitors, and 100 countries are represented in the bustling and energetic halls of Hammersmith’s Olympia. We were proud to be there!
