Through My Eyes is Vicky’s debut poetry collection and one of the first books to be published through our new Book Management Program for self-publishing authors. Poetry became an outlet for Vicky after she was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2017, and she wrote this richly allegorical and highly personal collection through the use of eye gaze technology. The “moving and soothing” poems detail love, life and her battle with the disease, and are infused throughout with a “wistful gratitude only someone in her condition can know and still share with the reader”. It is a beautiful collection that would make a fantastic Christmas present to yourself or any poetry lover in your life.
