Young Danny Lawlor's second book, 'Christmas Comeback', designed and published by JM Agency, to be launched in Kerry Writers' Museum.
Young Danny Lawlor’s second book, ‘Christmas Comeback’, designed and published by JM Agency, to be launched in Kerry Writers’ Museum.

Twelve-year-old Danny Lawlor became one of Ireland’s youngest literary sensations last year with the publication of his spooky adventure epic, Night of the Full Moon. Not one to rest on his laurels, Danny is back with a swashbuckling sequel that takes all the classic Christmas tropes and turns them on their head.

Find the full blurb to Christmas Comeback below to discover more about the latest trope of adventurers from ‘BallyAdveture’, and their attempts to save the world. As with Danny’s debut book, Christmas Comeback is written and illustrated by the young virtuoso.

Please join us at Kerry Writers’ Museum at 2 pm on Saturday, 23rd of November.

All are welcome to what promises to be a fun and whimsical afternoon, with drinks, crisps, and novel cupcakes served – no grinches allowed!

We would like to extend a special thanks to journalist, novelist, and broadcaster Billy Keane for kindly agreeing to launch the proceedings. Having written two well-received novels, The Last of the Heroes and The Ballad of Mo and G, in addition to his stature as one of Ireland’s most-loved newspaper columnists, it will be fascinating to see him impart some wisdom to the young author.

Will the team meet their end in a distant universe, or will they succeed in their mission to save not only Christmas Universe but the entire multiverse?

Well, grab yourself a slice of Christmas cake and a mug of hot chocolate and prepare to find out. Expertly narrated and illustrated by one of Ireland’s youngest literary talents, Christmas Comeback is a wacky adventure story full of twists and turns.
